Wall Panel Installation

Prior to installing the Precision Panel wall panels, a continuous bead of construction adhesive is applied to the inside and outside edge of the bottom plate.



Although smaller Precision Panel wall panels can be hand-carried and set into place, a boom truck can be used to help lift larger wall panels.



When installing Precision Panel wall panels, you will typically start in a corner. After the two corner panels are in place and plumb, the SIP screws are installed at 8" on center on one side of the corner and the fly by is fastened on the other side of the corner.





The walls are fastened to the bottom plate with 6d nails, 1-1/4" screws or 1-1/4" staples at 4" to 6" on center on both sides of the panel.
